Olympic shooter Rutter bemoans 'strange' lack of technology which cost her gold
Interview with Amber Rutter who claimed silver in a sudden-death shoot-off after a gripping women’s skeet final in the scorching heat of Chateauroux.
It was tinged with controversy after she missed her sixth extra shot, despite television replays appearing to show that she had clipped the target.
And she said that it is "strange" that an event as prestigious as the Olympics does not have the technology in place.
The 26-year-old spoke of the joy at sharing her medal-winning moment with son, Tommy, and wants to be an inspiration to other mothers that they can still compete at the top level of sport.
