Actor David Tennant is interviewed ahead of hosting the BAFTAs on the roll call of former hosts and whether he gets nervous on stage anymore.

BAFTA Film Awards: David Tennant interview; Part 2 of 3 ENGLAND: London: Piccadilly: BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts): INT David Tennant (Actor) interview SOT Q: ON WHO HAS HOSTED THE BAFTAS BEFORE HIM - The Two Ronnies hosted the film BAFTAs (reacting to reporter listing former hosts), it does seem unlikely doesn't it, I'd like to have seen it though Q: WHETHER THE WEIGHT OF HISTORY SITS ON HIS SHOULDERS - Well it does a bit more now you've mentioned the two Ronnie's / up until this point I was quite glib / if I'm standing next to the two Ronnie's, I mean that's pretty legendary isn't it, and Billy Connolly of course, who is the don / I do feel sort of a bit off the hook, because I'll go back to my normal job after this / even if it goes terribly wrong Q: WHETHER HE GETS NERVOUS ON STAGE ANYMORE - It depends what it is, (reporter mentions his Shakespeare acting) I get nervous when I do that / I'll be relying on the autocue, which is not something you get when you do a Shakespeare play / therefore, I suppose the terror would be if that were to go down, because then I'm on my own / what I do for a living is say other people's words rather than my own / if I've got that safety net, I'm sort of, quite looking forward to it, it feels like a joyous thing / if, on nearly live television the autocue were to go down then I will be - maybe I should stick something down my socks, just in case of absolute technical failure.
