On the right side of the photo is the Codrington Library, the library of All Souls College, Oxford, featuring a large sundial and a Gothic exterior. The library in its current form was endowed by Christopher Codrington (1668–1710), a Fellow of the college who amassed his fortune through his sugar plantation in the West Indies. The library, designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor was completed in 1751 and has been in continuous use by scholars since then. On the left is the western side of the north quadrangle facing out onto Radcliffe Square. It is marked by a cloister. The cloister is a single arcade, open to the interior of the quadrangle. It is enhanced by a central gateway and cupola. Behind the cloister, outside the college grounds you see the dome of the Radcliffe Camera, on Radcliffe Square. All Souls College is a constituent college of the University of Oxford in England. Unique to All Souls, all of its members automatically become fellows (i.e. full members of the College's governing body). It has no undergraduate members. Oxford, England, September 17, 2018
