Business As Usual In Pyongyang Despite Warnings Of Imminent War

PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA - APRIL 11: North Korea’s capital Pyongyang appeared to be in an unruffled, business-as-usual atmosphere on April 11, worlds apart from the recent bout of provocative rhetoric warning of imminent war with the United States and South Korea. with little display of bellicose political slogans in the city, ordinary citizens were seen commuting to and from work as usual while children were playing and running around on the streets. North Korea will celebrate the late state founder Kim Il Sung’s birthday on April 15, known in the country as the “Day of the Sun.”
