Lambda 4S, the satellite-carrying rocket, slowly rears its head up toward the launching angle at rehearsal

On February 6, 1970, a prelaunch rehearsal of the satellite-carrying rocket, Lambda 4S, No.5, was conducted by the University of Tokyo. The first Japanese Satellite, Oosumi, was then launched successfully on February 11 from Kagoshima Space Center locates in Uchinoura-cho, Kagoshima, Japan, where changed its name as Uchinoura Space Center, afterwards.
