DNI Clapper Tells House Committee of Resignation

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper begins a prepared statement before the House Select Committee on Intelligence by noting he had the night before submitted his letter of resignation, that the relationship between the intelligence community and the Defense Department has grown steadily closer, that intelligence is at the most basic level person to person, and giving credit to employees for the Department of Defense Distinguished Public Service Award presented to him by Defense Secretary Ash Carter.
