Federal Agent Searching Suspect

(Original Caption) The Federal Bureau of Investigation has long been glamorized in fiction and in newspapers for its efficient work in trapping big-time gangsters, atomic spies or other federal lawbreakers. For the workaday Federal Agent, however, there are many, less spectacular jobs to be done. Jobs that get no special publicity, but yet must be handled with just as much care as if they were front page news. One such job is shown in this picture. Agent Doe, (we shall call him), went through the motions of a hypothetical case, one that might be described as "typical" if there were such a thing as an absolute pattern for routine cases.
