Howard Hughes in Pilot Uniform

(Original Caption) Obtaining the job under an assumed name, Howard Hughes, millionaire motion picture producer, was found working as a $250 a month pilot for American Airways. When his identity was discovered, Hughes said he was working to obtain first-hand information and atmosphere for his next picture. Although the cameraman found him loading baggage, it wasn't until it was time for him to don his earphones and he took his place in the pilot's cabin that the picture was taken.
