(Original Caption) New Yorkers had their first look at "the fastest car on earth" today, when the 400-miles-per-hour Railton Special was taken from a warehouse in Midtown and hauled across Times Square to the Grand Central Palace, where it will be exhibited at the British Automobile and Motor Cycle Opening on April 15th. The 26-foot long, 3-ton racing car is shown leaving the warehouse. Except for its record runs in Utah, the car has never been seen by the American public.
