Palaios Agios Panteleimonas of Pieria is undoubtedly among the picturesque villages of Macedonia (if not the most picturesque), just 4 km from the sea and at the foot of Mount Olympus."nThe name of the settlement comes from the encirclement of the Holy Temple in honor and memory of Saint Megalomartyros and Thaamatikos Panteleimonos, which dominates the square full of squares of the village."nCharacteristic of the settlement is the harmonization of tradition with the beauties of the natural environment."nThe restored and traditional settlement is at an altitude of 700 meters, with a breathtaking view of the Thermaic Gulf and the coasts of South Pieria.
