On this excellent and danceable album the percussionist Miguel Castro introduces a wealth of rhythms and styles from the Americas, such as merengue, bomba, bata drums, Latin jazz, festejo, baqueteo, cumbia, soca, samba, mangulina, candombe and bossa nova. The booklet provides explanations of the different rhythms and some of the drums and percussion used.
