ORANGE, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 12, 2012: A six month female mountain lion during training session in its new home at the Orange County Zoo on January 12, 2012. The lion, along with her brother, were rescued in Oregon and relocated to the OC Zoo on December 3, 2011. The littermates are estimated to be born on July 1, 2011. It is believed they were orphaned after theri mother was hit by a car. Before being transferred to the OC Zoo, the mountain lions were cared for by the Exotic Feline Breeding Compund in Rosamond, California. Right now they are still in quarantine awaiting the modifications to their new exhibit. They will be on display in approximately 2-3 months.
