(Original Caption) 10/30/1937-Montclair, NJ: Mrs. Wright MacMillan, Chairman of the Hygiene Committee of the league of women voters, is here shown taking a Wasserman test for Syphililis, becoming the first of a group of clubwomen to take similar tests as the comencement of a drive to stamp out syphilis, Mrs. MacMillan, wife of a prominent physician, believes that voluntary taking of the test by her group will do much to make the Wasserman test a commonplace thing.
