Colin Drummond a longtime freelance photographer from the area who in recent years has been focused solely on celebrity photography for markets like TMZ and elsewhere. He's a friendly guy who makes a tidy living as a paparazzo, with a house in Old Town Alexandria where he lives with his wife and two kids. One of his most famous photos to date was Oprah Winfrey arriving at Howard University for the commencement address a few years back. She had flip flops on and it turned out she had six toes! The photo ran around the world and he made about $50K off it. He also filmed the famous shot of actor Shia LaBeouf in Georgetown flinging a cup of coffee at another paparazzo who was bothering him.
