President-elect Joko Widodo last week urged President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to help him ease the fuel subsidy costs by raising prices before he steps down on October 20. On August 15, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono proposed a budget for 2015 that increases fuel subsidies from 13.1 % of total spending to 14.4%, a newspaper reported.
