The Philippine tarsier, (Tarsius syrichta) is a very small primate, weighing around 150g. It has remarkably large eyes, each one the same size and weight as its brain. Although the group was once more widespread, all the species living today are found in the islands of Southeast Asia.This specimen was photographed in the Philippine Tarsier Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the conservation of the Philippine Tarsier and its Habitat.It is located in the town of Corella, Bohol where a rich secondary forest flourishes and is a home for a most variety of flora and fauna.
